The mission of the Black Resilience Network is to catalyze leadership development, collaboration, and investments in Black towns, communities, and organizations so they can successfully play their vital roles in the disaster and climate resilience ecosystem. The nonprofit Next Leadership Development convenes the Black Resilience Network.

Racism is a man-made disaster that steadily and stealthily ravages Black communities - overwhelming individual and collective capacity. Many people in Black communities are in a perpetual state of crisis due to the compounding nature of historical and present-day racism. The impacts are experienced in the workplace; before, during, and after disasters; and all other aspects of our lives.
